Due to the world wide COVID19 situation, The PBA 2021 Symposium will be held in a hybrid manner. The participants who will be able to come to Kyoto in this August/September, will attend the symposium face-to-face. The participants who will “not” be able to come to Kyoto, will attend the symposium online. Due to the current situation, we will not organize the Welcome reception and Symposium dinner. Also, the registration fee is changed (reduced).

This symposium will be held in compliance with "Guidelines on hosting MICE events in the COVID-19 pandemic" by Japan Convention Management Association (English,Japanese).

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 31st International Symposium on Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis (PBA2021). The conference will be held in Kyoto University at Katsura, Kyoto, Japan from August 29 (Sun) to September 1 (Wed), 2021. The PBA Symposium series is the premier meeting for Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis. The 31st International Symposium (PBA2021, August 29 – September 1) and the domestic 33rd Symposium on Biomedical–Analytical Sciences (BMAS2021, September 1 – September 2) will be held in Kyoto, Japan, which is the first joint meeting in Kyoto as a regular PBA Symposium and a BMAS Symposium. The symposium will cover all aspects of Pharmaceutical Analysis and Biomedical Analysis as well as topics in related scientific area. Invited lectures, oral presentations and poster presentations will be planned for each section, in addition to the plenary sessions. Researchers who are actively working in the field of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis are invited from all over the world. In the conference, the latest achievements will be presented and discussed. We encourage also the young scientists to attend the meeting and present the results. We are looking forward to meeting you in Kyoto, Japan.
